Think you know your Texas ghosts? Here’s your chance to put it to the test with the Ghost Scribes’ Groovy Virtual Scavenger Hunt. First person to find all the items with the fewest number of retries wins a ticket to the Granbury Ghosts & Legends Tour. Now through September 30 here.
The Ghost Scribes know you’ve been asking yourself trepidatiously, “But what about your annual Halloween spook-tastic literary event?” Well, worry not, ghostly ghouls and gals, because we are planning an extra-special evening for you. Please join us and a multitude of special guests at The Wild Detectives on Saturday, October 22 from 6 to 8 pm for Chills & Thrills with the Ghost Scribes: Edgar Allan Poe in the ‘Hood. We are thrilled to be welcoming storytellers extraordinares Linda Jones, Blanca Reyna and Gene Helmick-Richardson, along with special guest Brandy Herr of the Granbury Ghosts & Legends Tour and author of Haunted Granbury. (Hey, what’s with the whole Granbury thing, anyway? It just so happens that the Ghost Scribes have a special foldness for Granbury, because, among other things, the ghost of John Wilkes Booth is said to hang out there.)
Oh my, but doesn’t October seem so far off? Not to worry! The Ghost Scribes’ first ever online scavenger hunt will be launching soon. That should keep you busy for a while. Watch this space for more details. Until then, Happy Haunting!
The Ghost Scribes would like to welcome you to our NEW! and IMPROVED! website. We seem to have lost Zander somewhere along the way. He was last seen at Open Mic night at a comedy club in Bedford and calling himself “Mark Nash”. If you see him, please let us know. We need to make sure he’s taking his meds and getting enough fiber in his diet.
Watch this space for a big announcement about the Granbury Paranormal Festival, coming your way soon.
Ghosts…you say you can’t get enough of ’em? Well, who can blame you? Neither can we! That’s why the Ghost Scribes have teamed up to bring you this spooky little blog, dedicated to all things ghost.
